You might be amused to note that I did not put on any weight on that holiday, despite the barrel of wine and the vat of triple cream Brie. I attribute this to the unusually vast quantity of cigarettes I smoked.

A green-lipped mussel has a green lip on it’s shell, near the edge.

Yes, we were sleeping in the camper vans – they were quite comfortable but we are now in Santiago innit.

We have both put on a vast amount of weight. Current combined weight is 23 stone. You do the math.

Please can you clarify a few points. Firstly, what is a green lipped mussel? Which bit is green? Secondly, are you sleeping in the camper vans, and is that comfortable? Thirdly, when do you leave NZ, and where are you going (I like to be prepared, I don’t like surprises). And finally, after all the mention of food I can only assume that you have put on a huge amount of weight – which obviously pleases me. How much do you now weigh??
