I have decided not to read this blog. Too depressingly joyful. Here is rubbish, snow everywhere across the East except for the Bermudian triangle that is London. Our poor car is dead, we must buy a new one, Adele wants a Daimler. And what Adele wants, Adele gets. I, however, will be purchasing something sensible to last until March and then trade in for another car with a temporary lid.

Notts County v Forest Green. 4th manager of the season installed, 5th on the way. Class. Two definites for the trip, hoping to get 4+ for a poker fest.

Gah. Aside from that, Gooners were lucky.

Well I feel I should update you on my week as well as I know you are interested. I went to the Dentist and he charged me £56 for a checkup!!! Still reeling from shock. As you know I lost my keys last week – yesterday my crap (are you allowed to swear on this thing?) spare keys broke and I spent and hour trying to get in, before going to flatmate’s work place for her keys. 5 hours of a day off wasted. And James lost his wallet. And it’s blimin freezing – some snow! but, on the plus side, Joe won X Factor. Gazza got arrested again for drunk and disorderly behaviour.

It’s below freezing here and we have had snow today and are promised more tomorrow so I’m delighted to hear you have found paradise!!!!
A reasonable draw at Burnley but after taking the lead we should have scored another couple of goals instead of thinking the game was already won but you’ve seen it all before.Fabregas is now injured and misses Saturday’s game.I guess you’re quite envious os us watching a match against Hull with a 5.30 kick off in sub zero temperatures!!!
I am writing this on Thursday and tomorrow I retire from work-it all seems a bit unreal at the moment

Hi, you would leave a lovely blog like this on a day that it has been snowing. Sounds really good. You really are your fathers’ son , he too got up at 5.00 in the morning in the Cook Islands to listen to the footy on the radio. Think of me rushing around to buy all the Christmas food. Although I guess you will miss the turkey dinner. Love to you both Mum
